How to Root ?

First Download Root_HM1S_MIUI8_Global .zip File
After Download Copy Root_HM1S_MIUI8_Global .zip File in Redmi 1S Internal Memory
Now Go to Updater App Click on Top Three Dots and Click on Choose update package and select Root_HM1S_MIUI8_Global .zip File and Wait.

After Select Your Redmi 1S Boot into Recovery Mode Automatic and Flash zip File Auto and After this Your Redmi 1S Auto Power ON.
Now you SuperSu App install on Your Device.
Now Click on SuperSu App and Update SU Binary and Click Normal and After Successful Message Reboot Your Device.

It's been over 2 months since the first MIUI 7 global stable build was released. Today we are really excited to announce that MIUI 7.1 global stable build is now rolling out! From now on, many of you should be able to progressively receive the update over-the-air (OTA) on your phones via the Updater app. If you cannot wait, you can download the ROM packages in this thread below. Native Root & Unroot MIUI 7 Global Stable Redmi 1S [update V7.1.1.0]

You need:

1. Make sure you use MIUI 7 Global Stable V7.0.5.0.KHCMICI on your phone or V7.1.1.0.KHCMICK.
2. The battery is at least 50% or more.

File Root

V7.0.5.0.KHCMICI: RootNative_Miui7_Stable_HM1S.zip

V7.1.1.0.KHCMICK: ROOTNATIVE_MIUI_7.1.1_HM1S.zip

Download root file, save to your drive internal.
Go to the Updater, flash. select the file to the root RootNative_Miui7_Stable_HM1S.zip, If the method fails, try renaming the file to update.zip and place in the internal memory
Install any apps that require root access eg. Titanium Backup, Flashify or apps of your choice.
Once installed open the application, the application will then require root access.
To give Root Access to these apps. goto Security > Permissions > Root Access > Enable those apps that require root access earlier.
Re-open those apps that require root access earlier. Just click next, next, allow & accept to proceed with those apps.
